William Roger Clemens, former Major League Baseball pitcher, who has won numerous awards and has entertained and impressed many baseball fans, is caught under the drug case.
Clemens is no doubt an inspiration for young baseball players. But why such players or idols or legends, have to get indulge into drugs and controversies? Does it mean that the games they have played were fake, based on performance drugs?
You might have heard that Roger Clemens (nick named Rocket) is alleged in a drug case for consuming performance drugs for optimum performance. Now the case have not taken a significant turn and the judge of this criminal case demanded the attorneys to perform a deeper research and instigation over the usage of performance drugs for every player of Major League Baseball. The hearing will be private, which will bring other hidden stories and shocking facts that occur prior to the baseball game.
Recently, Reggie Walton, U.S. District Judge of this drug case ordered all the lawyers who were involved in writing the 2007 Mitchell Report, to appear in the courtroom in Washington, for the next petition which is scheduled soon. The discussion would be more like an interview with Brian McNamee and Kirk Radomski, the accusers of Mr. Clemens. Few New York based attorneys, especially those from the DLA Piper law firm, has helped in writing the internal memos. They are requested to attend the interviews. Defending against this claim, Clemens said that he needs more information on the memos before deciding the claims by McNamee and Radomski.
Intake of performance drugs during the play is definitely the greatest foul as the players doesn’t only cheat his opponents and audience but, he cheats himself. I don’t want to exactly say that they are coward but, they lack sportsmanship. One shouldn’t consume drugs for performance and if any players are found guilty, then they should apologize the audience and should be punished.
