Team Blue Raider men's tennis faces an extra rigorous slate in the year 2012, as announced by head coach Jimmy Borendame in recent times. Middle Tennessee will face four teams in the NCAA Championship 2011, with three of them on the road."We have a tough schedule again this year, and we will address some of the best teams in the nation," said by Borendame. "Playing tough opponents on their home court will help our team to prepare to defend our title of the Sun Belt tournament in late April and make another trip to the NCAA regional final."

The current Sun Belt champions open the season with three consecutive road trips to contestants from NCAA championship of last year, starting with a company which cuts the road to Vanderbilt on Jan. 18. After Two days, the team will travel to Blacksburg, Virginia to the Virginia Tech shooting. Moreover with the Hokies, the MT will face Davidson and Colombia during the three-day event. The Blue Raiders terminate the road swing which is next to Auburn on 29th Jan.

MT receives the first of four home games on January 29, against Chattanooga at Nashboro Village Athletic Club. The Blue Raiders welcome Northwestern and Brown's continuous days (Feb. 10-11), and then finish the final against ETSU on 18 February. MT breaks from action for a weekend before traveling to Texas. The Blue Raiders will play in the HEB Classic during Corpus Christi from March 2 to 3 before traveling to San Antonio for a game at UTSA.Blue Raiders return to Nashville for their first competition at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center which is scheduled on March 10 in opposition to IUPUI and stay at home to receive Belmont on March 15.
